Intel showed the Infoscape – essentially a huge wall-sized touch screen that presents information as a sea of undulating cubes, that slowly rotate showing various pictures on each face. Touch a cube and it opens a window with relevant information about the topic. Intel wants us to perceive them not just as a technology company that manufactures microproccessors, but as a company with their finger on the pulse of computer users, and how they want to interact with technology.
Panasonic showed a 152″ Plasma with 4K resolution, as in 4096 X 2160 pixel resolution, about 4 times that of a 1080p image. And, you guessed it, it does 3D.
